MEREFSA - Manufacturados Españoles de Resinas Fluoradas

MEREFSA (Manufacturados Españoles de Resinas Fluoradas S.L.) was created in 1966 by Mr and Mrs Senart becoming one of the first companies in Spain to transform PTFE by compression moulding and tooling.

In 1967 silicone and fluorelastomer extrusion and moulding processes were incorporated. Later on, complementary processes were included to solve adherence and corrosion problems in industry by paint spray- and powder-coating (non-stick and anticorrosive coatings).

Since the 80's a number of commercialised products were included in our product range, such as PTFE- and silicone-coated glass fabrics, heat shrinkable FEP/PFA, encapsulated o-rings and fluoropolymer convoluted and smooth tubes. In the 90's MEREFSA became exclusive distributor for Spain of all the LINATEX® product range (the best known abrasion-resistant rubber).

In 2003 the Bussman press from Dupont’s Lab in Geneva (Switzerland) for automatic moulding of large series of PTFE parts was bought. In 2004 the company Logicflon, a PTFE belt and tape manufacturer from Valencia (Spain) was absorbed. Recently we have acquired a new silicone extrusion line with the latest technology, currently being one of the largest silicone processors in Spain.
