We have certified our metal detectable sponge silicone in accordance with European standard EC 1935/2004.
We have obtained official certification for our metal detectable sponge silicone, certified by Intertek in accordance with Regulation EC 1935/2004 and BfR XV recommendations. This material, with a density of 0.4 g/cm³, is designed to be detected in industrial processes using magnetic or X-ray means, ensuring maximum food safety and traceability in the production chain.
The homologation test report confirms that Merefsa’s metal detectable sponge silicone meets the most stringent legal requirements regarding extractables, peroxides, and volatile organic compounds (VOCs), ensuring that it poses no risk to human health or food quality.
